Pasty Emporium is located in one of a row of old railway arches on Oxford Street. The building has great character and we love it!
Our shop offers a variety of traditional Cornish Pasties, a fine selection of coffees and other snacks in a friendly atmosphere where customers can enjoy a light meal while talking with friends or relaxing to some jazz that is always playing in the background. Whether you come in and stay for a while or choose to take your order away, you can be assured of fresh food at fair prices.
We can even provide pasties for a variety of events, delivered hot and ready to eat, a welcome addition to an evening do!
We also offer quality catering services to Bristol and the surrounding areas. Whether your event is for business or pleasure, we specialise in providing finger buffet foods for any occasion.
Jonathan Pearce first opened the doors in 2005 and has been enjoying every moment of the journey so far! Bristolian born and raised, and with many years of experience in hospitality and catering, Jonathan was delighted to discover this business opportunity in the heart of his hometown. Happily, as the area has developed the business has grown from strength to strength.
Jacek Gorzynski first joined the growing business in 2008 and to this day he continues to work with tireless commitment and enthusiasm. He loves the shop and his character is firmly imprinted upon it!
We take pride in our people, our delicious pasties, and our core operating principles that have kept our customers coming back for years.
You will receive a warm welcome from all of our team, most of whom have worked together for many, many years. All staff are fully trained food handlers and carry Food Hygiene Level 2 certificates. Everyone has undergone extensive Barista training, so you can be confident that you are in safe hands and will enjoy your coffee to the full. We are proud to offer a fast and efficient service, backed up with an excellent standard of delicious food at fair prices.
All the pasties we sell are genuine Cornish Pasties with Protected Geographical Indication status. PGI is an EU framework that gives legal protection to the name Cornish Pasty and stops inferior products from being passed off as genuine. Our pasties are hand crimped in Cornwall and freshly baked at our shop. We offer a variety of pasties and sausage rolls for all tastes including vegetarian and vegan-friendly selections.
We are committed to recycling and will re-use wherever possible. Food and other suppliers are sourced locally. We endeavour to keep the supply chain short and support a cleaner environment by our use of fully compostable consumables. We will only ever use free range eggs. We are a registered Refill Bristol water bottle refill station and we offer our own branded, reusable eCoffee cups for regular customers who want to help reduce waste.
